Kingsmere’s “Justanuff” ROM June 11 1997~February 9 2009
Goodbye, big fella
We lost Kelvin last night; he went quietly at home with Peggy and I and our son Greg holding and petting him. We’d just gotten him on heart meds because he’d had several fainting episodes. We thought it was helping – he’d actually shown more energy the last two days. He even did a little bark-and-spin routine in front of the TV while we were watching the Westminster dog show, something he always used to do if we weren’t giving him enough attention! Linda had come over for a visit on Sunday and we’re really glad he got to see her one last time; we’ll always be grateful to her for giving us “her best dog,” as we used to tell her! He really was a special boy; such a sweet, gentle soul.
Everyone hug their bullies extra close today…

I know I sent you an email and I am so sorry to hear of Kelvin’s passing. I know he was a best friend, as my bullie Austin was to me. In fact it was their doing that I have my treasured friendship with you and Peggy. I am glad that he got to pass surrounded by those who loved him most and peacefully went on his terms. My eyes are still weeping from hearing this news. My best love to you all and know that Austin was there waiting for him. xo, am

Chris, you were one of the first BT friends I made online. I always enjoyed reading about the big beluga and am so sorry to hear about his passing. He had a wonderful life with people who cherished him.

So sorry Chris to hear of the loss of your beloved “Big White Beluga” (I loved that description of him). He’s young and healthy again and romping with his new friends at the “Bridge” and watching over you.
Kelvin has left you with lots of wonderful memories to help ease the pain.
He’ll never be forgotten.
Bully hugs from “Down Under”.

Dear Chris, Peggy,
Kelvin truly was a special boy. I remember what an impression he made on me when I first saw him in the ring. He was easy on the eyes, ALL bull terrier and as sweet as he could be. Hang tight to the memories until you all meet again.
Peace……….Norma Smith, Magor Bull Terriers

I’m so sorry for your sad loss of Kelvin. These times always leave me lost for words, but I can tell you I’m hugging my beloved bullies extra close tonight.
“Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.” Til you meet again on the other side…

What can I possibly say? I know how much the big boy meant to all of you and how much he came to mean to us, too. The only positive is that he was at home surrounded by those who loved him best when he crossed over the Bridge. My loving bully thoughts are with all of you today. We have all been there and yet we charge that path over and over. It’s because of the generous spirit of these bullys that we do it, and Kelvin was the most generous of spirits.
God Bless him on his path and you in your grief.
